Getting Started

What is Howlers?
Howlers is a platform that connects people who need help with skilled professionals in their selected area, and those professionals having tools and a platform to branch out and grow. Our use of AI takes this ability significantly forward, empowering all users with the strength of Agents to execute commands on their behalf.
How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign up' on the homepage and sign in with your Google account. We'll guide you through setting up your profile, including your name, location, and skills.
Is Howlers free to use?
Yes! Creating an account and posting Howls is completely free. We offer optional premium features for professionals who want more visibility and advanced tools.

Posting Howls

What is a Howl?
A Howl is a request for help. You describe what you need, select a skill category, set your location and budget, and skilled professionals in your area will see it and can respond.
How do I post a Howl?
From your home feed, type your request in the 'What skill do you need?' box. Add a location and skill tag, then click 'Howl' to post it.
Can I edit or delete a Howl?
Yes! Click on your Howl, then tap the three dots menu. You can edit the content or delete it entirely.

Finding & Hiring

How do I find skilled professionals?
Use the Search tab to browse by skill category, or post a Howl and wait for professionals to respond. You can also explore the 'Nearby' tab to see skilled people in your area.
How do I know if someone is reliable?
Look for verified badges, ratings, and reviews on profiles. Professionals can verify their skills, identity, and get badges for completing jobs successfully.
How do payments work?
Howlers doesn't handle payments directly—you agree on terms with the professional and pay them as arranged. We recommend using secure payment methods and getting receipts.

For Professionals

How do I offer my services?
Go to Settings > My Skills and add the skills you offer. Make sure to fill out your profile completely and set your location so people can find you.
How do I respond to Howls?
When you see a Howl that matches your skills, click 'I can help' to express interest. You can also send a direct message to discuss details.
How do I get verified?
Go to Settings > Verification to start the process. You can verify your identity, skills (with certificates or portfolio), and business registration.

Safety & Privacy

Is my information safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and never share your personal information without your consent. You control what's visible on your profile.
How do I report someone?
Click the three dots on any profile or Howl and select 'Report'. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action.
How do I block someone?
Go to their profile, click the three dots, and select 'Block'. They won't be able to see your profile or contact you.
